It has been a long journey for this little independent film I made years ago #loversinadangeroustime It still has a life. Which is fantastic and rare with a small indie film. We did it all ourselves. No funding. Shot over a span of four years. Would pack up my jeep full of camera and sound equipment and drive up to the small town of Creston BC and shoot every season of a year. The town and it’s amazing people helped us immensely and a lot of local non actors grace the film and make it better. Blood, sweat and tears and a lot of love went into this film. I have changed a lot as a filmmaker and as an actress that there are moments I wish I could have made better or hoped for if we’d had a bigger budget. But at the end of the day. We did it. I did it. I am proud of it and everyone involved. Making films can be magic and I accomplished a dream of making my own feature film. Distribution is almost unheard of with a film like this. But we survived and after a theatrical release in Canada in 2013 and releases with Canadian Cable TV now the rest of the world except sadly New Zealand can see it on iTunes. Not being available in NZ is a gripe since my dad and family are from there. But guess what? You can buy it off our website and actually support us the filmmaker who actually make barely anything with deals like this with iTunes and Netflix etc. BUT really if you are willing to even watch it you are awesome!! And look at the films we are in company with! Haha #sweet #support #independentfilm #loveyou
